course overview
The course provides participants with a solid understanding of the thermal acquisition and analysis technologies used in UAS detection systems. During the course, participants will learn how to use thermal sensors to capture high-quality thermographic data and analyze that data to identify thermal anomalies. Additionally, the course will cover flight techniques, mission planning, data management, and provide an overview of advanced applications of thermography with drones, such as search and rescue, industrial thermography, and building and infrastructure inspection.
Participants must be able to pilot drones safely and responsibly, and have already learned takeoff, landing, and hovering procedures.
